The first annual “Ride for Clean Energy” benefiting the Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Foundation was held on August 17, 2013. A group 13 of riders made up of friends and family of the Foundation rode the “Harrison to Home” route. The Ride was organized by Carl McBeath. The riders were greeted at the finish by additional friends and family at the Prindle-Lewis home where a celebratory BBQ followed. The Inaugural event was not a fundraiser, it was a celebration of all the work and fundraising that has been accomplished already this year. The future Rides will be the main annual fundraisers for the foundation.
