Graham T. Lewis DVM, DACVO

Graham was born in New Brunswick and raised on a family dairy farm. Following high school graduation, he attended the Nova Scotia Agricultural College then was admitted to the Ontario Veterinary College where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1968. He practiced general veterinary medicine in Alberta and Maple Ridge, British Columbia. In 1979 he entered specialty studies in Veterinary and Comparative Ophthalmology at the Ontario Veterinary College. Graham accepted an assistant professorship at Michigan State University College of Veterinary in 1981. There he continued his ophthalmology studies and obtained his Diplomate certification in The American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 1983. Graham married Lynn Prindle in 1984 and soon after moved back to British Columbia where he established a referral practice in veterinary ophthalmology that he continued until 2000. Since 2000, Graham has consulted in the capacity of Comparative Veterinary Ophthalmologists for a number of biomedical organizations; QLT Inc., Vancouver, B.C., Shin Nippon Biomedical Laboratories USA, Everett, WA., WuXi App Tec, Shanghai, PRC.

As Tyler ‘s father, he is deeply committed in keeping his son’s memory and vision for a sustainable environment for all alive by supporting clean energy research through this foundation.
