ynn spent her childhood and early adult years in rural Michigan.  She attended Michigan State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 1979 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.  She began veterinary practice in Michigan and continued it in British Columbia after marrying Graham Lewis in 1984.  Following the birth of their only child Tyler in 1986, Lynn practiced part time while she and Graham raised their son.  Lynn retired from veterinary medicine after a diagnosis of breast cancer in 1997 and established the Alouette Tutoring Center in 2000. Lynn has been fully retired since 2013 and continues to be actively involved in the local community.

Lynn is deeply committed to the goals of The Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Foundation and sees it as a powerful vehicle to carry forward her son’s passion and commitment to make the world a better place for us all.
