Ryan Anderson

Grant Advisor - Ph.D

Ryan Anderson is an associate professor in Chemical and Biological Engineering at Montana State University. He earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia (2012). He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.A. in History from Bucknell University (2007). He is a member of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and a senior member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).

His research interests include porous media and transport phenomena. Recent projects include packed bed thermal energy storage for concentrated solar power, two-phase flow in PEM fuel cells, near-critical heat transfer, and reducing energy consumption in mining. He also enjoys playing bass, skiing, and biking.
