Sean was born and raised in Maple Ridge BC, where he got to know Tyler through his brother Carl. Sean graduated with a Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of British Columbia with the support, mentorship and friendship of Tyler. More recently, Sean has received his Masters of Applied Science at UBC, researching an electrochemical water treatment technology for small and remote communities. Throughout high school and university, Sean competed as a high performance athlete in the Olympic sport of sprint canoeing and still enjoys getting out on the water whenever he can.

Sean is currently living in London UK, pursuing his doctoral studies in Environmental and Water Resource Engineering at Imperial College London.
