Grant Awarded to the John Grace Graduate Scholarship

The Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to the John Grace Graduate Scholarship in Chemical and Biological Engineering.

The John Grace Graduate Scholarship in Chemical and Biological Engineering was endowed by Dr. Sherrill E. Grace for University of British Columbia graduate students in Chemical and Biological Engineering. The recipients demonstrate academic excellence and potential for service to society by performing research on energy, the environment and/or multi-phase systems. Dr. John Grace was a professor emeritus in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of British Columbia. Professor Grace was Tyler’s graduate supervisor and his mentor. He was a founding Grant Advisor of the Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Foundation.

The Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Foundation is forever indebted to Dr. Grace for being with us from the beginning to help focus and shape our foundation. He is profoundly missed by us all for his support both personally and professionally.
